Navigation Route: Northwest coast of Ibiza

Navigation Route: Northwest coast of Ibiza

Today Nautic Swan proposes you a navigation route in which we will see several of the most attractive beaches on the North West side of Ibiza, we hope you enjoy it!

We begin the route departing from San Antonio, heading to the west of the island, the first
Place we will visit is the mythical Cala Bassa, a beautiful cove of crystalline waters and an intense turquoise blue mixed with fine white sand. It is surrounded by a wooded area featuring a pretty wild landscape. This cove is surrounded by low cliffs which favors the protection from the winds.

We recommend you to put your snorkel and swim around the caves situated at the right of the beach before continuing our navigation route.

We keep navigating westwards, we should not draw a straight line because we would hit with rocks, the recommended option is to surround the small island of Conejera to go to the famous Cala Conta, another excellent place with a natural beauty that overwhelms you, formed by thin and pearly sands and turquoise waters of penetrating color. Cala Conta (Cala Comte) offers an idyllic landscape that becomes one of the most popular beaches in the north or west. This beach is one od the most spectacular place to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Cala Conta is not a recommended area to spend the night with the boat, it does not offer enough shelter.

We continue navigation towards Cala Tarida, we will pass a few small coves that you can visit depending on the size of your boat. Cala Tarida is a fairly urbanized place, nevertheless it maintains the paradisiacal atmosphere from the sea. It is a pretty long and wide beach.

We keep moving direction Cala Vedella, a beautiful area with stunning views, the cove is narrow and it is difficult to approach the beach due to the amount of local buoy out there. It is surrounded by pine tree-covered hills, the sunsets in this area are truly beautiful, it is an ideal place to enjoy them.
Our next destination is Cala D’Hort, anchoring in this cove is excellent, between 5 to 8 meters with great amplitude, always on sand with very good grip. It is one of the most emblematic coves of Ibiza, wide and protected from the easterly winds, here you can enjoy incredible views of the impressive and mysterious island of Es Vedra. Es Vedra is a stunning islet, nearly 400 meters high, it is one of our chosen destinations. This palce has a huge enigmatic force that thousands of people claim to have felt.

To the north it is a small corner where you can disembark: Es Vedranell, but we only advise anchoring when weather conditions are good.

This is our recommendation of the nicest places to visit in the north west of Ibiza area, we hope you enjoy them.
